LED’S INCREASE EFFICIENCY
The SINUS-220 provides a nearly perfect simulation of the sunlight. And it does so consistently during each and every individual efficiency measurement across the entire lifecycle of the light source.
LED’S FLASH LONGER
High-efficiency solar cells require longer exposure times than standard solar cells when measuring cell efficiency. Xenon lamps only allow for short exposure times.
LED’S REDUCE RUNNING COSTS
Conventional solar simulators use xenon lamps which age continuously and need to be replaced after only a few months of operation.
LED’S BOOST ENERGY YIELDS
Efficiency is measured based on an international standard that provides a specific definition of sunlight. But actual sunlight varies greatly according to geographic location, season, and time of day.
LED’S EXTEND MODULE LIFETIME
Sorting out solar cells that may generate hotspots is an important way of avoiding the associated efficiency and monetary losses. Until now, however, measurement methods have not been sufficient to accomplish this.
