WAVELABS’ RapidWAVE® EQE functionality makes use of the option to illuminate solar cells with single LED channels to gain quantum efficiency information.

As a result, Isc output on every LED channel can be used to generate an EQE curve.

Applications

R&D level: High number of LED channels leads to a good spectral overview on possible efficiency loss effects
Production: Lower number of LED channels; this function can be used for inline detection of process impacts
