THE SINUS-2100
Setting a new standard for the standard setters
When the world’s leading photovoltaic institutions conduct research or carry out certification services, they require extreme accuracy. The standard test conditions used by renowned organizations such as Fraunhofer, Imec, and PTB must match AM 1.5 as closely as possible. Consistency from one project to the next is also essential.
This is where the groundbreaking A+++ spectral accuracy and long-term stability of the SINUS-2100 truly shine. Capable of evenly illuminating 72-cell modules, this powerful simulator lets operators use multiple customized spectra and set up long exposure times. As a result, levelized cost of energy results can be easily calculated for any region on earth.

No-holds-barred solar simulation
The unique parachute-shaped design makes it possible to keep the individual light engines at a constant distance from the module. An optional re-circulation chiller provides 40 KW of cooling power to dissipate heat from the system, allowing exposure times of as much as several minutes or more.
A fully featured flasher
The SINUS-2100 can perform Voc, Isc, FF, Pmpp and I/V curve measurements to cover a broad range of research, certification, and production applications. Outstanding reliability, accuracy, and stability are what WAVELABS LED systems are known for.

A+++ spectral accuracy and stability
Class A+++ spectral match and long-term stability combined with Class A uniformity and short-term stability give you exceptionally accurate, repeatable results. This is a pioneering achievement among full-sized module flashers.
The next best thing to teleportation
Never before have PV experts had the ability to simulate the unique characteristics of solar irradiance in every corner of the globe, for entire PV modules, under continuous illumination. What will a module yield at noon in the middle of a Californian summer? How about a New Zealand winter at dusk? Just set up your SINUS-2100 and find out.

Your benefits with the SINUS-2100
By bringing groundbreaking spectral accuracy and the option of continuous illumination to module testing, WAVELABS has given the world’s leading PV manufacturers and researchers a wealth of new options.
