Last week, the transnational solar cluster “SPOT ON” e.V. was founded in Halle (Saale). East German PV-stakeholders [...]
“We have virtually everything we need, we just don’t do it.”
In his keynote address at this year's opening event of the 20th IQ Innovation Award Central Germany, WAVELABS co-founder Dr. Torsten Brammer gave the audience some food for thought. What can the Central German metropolitan region learn from international success stories and best practices to realize the green revolution? Torsten summarized his findings in six points: 👁 Vision Every team [...]
EU PV SEC 2023: Hannes Wagner: Machine Learning to Predict Module Performance from Cell and Module Parameters
LECTURE/VIDEO
At this year's European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition, Hannes Wagner-Mohnsen summarized the factors that can affect solar module power output during production.
Accelerate your Cut-Cell Measurement
Exact characterization of up to three cut cells with one flash. Providing individual measurement data sets for each cut cell.
WCPEC-8: Torsten Brammer: Machine Learning and Led Solar Simulators for Fast Efficiency Improvements
LECTURE/VIDEO How can we proof the efficiency of solar cells even faster in production but also in R&D? At #WCPEC8 our founder Torsten Brammer presents two methods to achieve this goal by machine learning by the flexibility of a LED solar simulator. The World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion (WCPEC-8) is the world’s biggest platform for PV research [...]
WCPEC-8: Hannes Wagner: A Machine Learning Strategy for Analysing PERC and TOPCon Solar Cells in Mass-Production
LECTURE/VIDEO
Watch the video of Hannes Wagner-Mohnsen, Data Scientist at WAVELABS, about machine learning given at the 21st International Conference on Numerical Simulation of Optoelectronic Devices (NUSOD, 13-17 September 2021).
WCPEC-8: Bernhard Klöter: Accurate High Throughput Current-Voltage Classification of High Efficiency Silicon Solar Cells
LECTURE/VIDEO Modern manufacturing of advanced PERC, TOPCon or HJT silicon solar cells can maintain high excess minority carrier lifetimes into finished device. Such cells are inherently slower to respond to transients in terminal voltages, making steady-state current-voltage sweeps incompatible with today’s industrial throughput requirements. Bernhard Klöter discusses the use of the RapidWAVE® method implemented in WAVELABS SINUS-300 LED [...]
What do you think makes our industry so special? Dr. Torsten Brammer on the WCPEC-8
