The SINUS-70 ADVANCED:
A flasher that goes the distance
The SINUS-70 ADVANCED is the ideal solar simulator for R&D. Full control across a very broad spectrum allows researchers to analyze the performance of cells by varying the spectrum. Combine this complete spectral control with long exposure times, and youʼve got a perfect tool.
THE SINUS-70 ADVANCED
The right tool for groundbreaking research
Ideal for perovskites solar cells
Research in Solar has been steadily growing. In particular, tandem perovskites cells have leaped into the spotlight. Many now rival or exceed the efficiency of single-junction silicon cells while promising lower production costs. Correspondingly, research on this technology has gained considerable momentum. Yet conventional xenon simulators that can only offer a fixed spectrum coupled with short flashes make it difficult to analyze the performance of individual layers in a tandem cell.

Unique WAVELABS LED technology ensures uniform output
Like all the pioneering WAVELABS solar simulators before it, the SINUS-70 ADVANCED uses a carefully chosen blend of different LEDs that pass through a sophisticated optical system to output a fully tunable spectrum with class leading uniformity.
Cool enough for continuous illumination
The SINUS-70 ADVANCED is also able to flash for far longer than other simulators. The device can even provide continuous illumination for intensities ranging from 0.1 to 1.3 suns. For long exposure times, water cooling is provided.
